Poetry night

These were some pics that Mate took of me, before going to another city to attend a poetry evening. A friend asked me if I would like to recite some poems out of his creations. His latest book was launched too, so it was a good occasion to learn some new things. So I did...
The poet's name is Adrian Suciu...you'll see him in the pics below, signing the book he gave me, after the event was over. He's the kind of the direst, trenchant, without too many emotions behind his verses kind of a poet. It's going to be an interesting lecture if you get a hold of his book "Viata fara urmari".

At the event, Camelia was invited too (acting faculty colleague).
The event happened in an Arts Gallery...this was a pic that I found pretty interesting...It's an image that summarizes the entire history of Romania so far, including the present. It's like: That's obviously the way we should choose and follow...but there's always SOMETHING THERE...blocking our path...our way to better things...

Hope you found the post interesting! See you soon!
Love. Gab~

pencil art

Take a look at the work of Ghostpatrol, an australian artist, is doing! Absolutely love it! Ghostpatrol creates worlds. His ongoing exploration of hybrid animals and forests travels across mediums; from pasted posters to soft sculpture, watercolours and printmaking. His work often references childhood nostalgia and pop culture, with often quite sinister and playful undertones. From beginnings in stencil and street art, his current practice focuses on ambitious installation and painting projects.
Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did! Wonderful pieces of art!

Beautiful little things

As I hope I've already used my readers, this post it's going to be about beautiful things: things that make my soul smile, things that inspire beauty and breath the word elegant. Let me introduce you to one true soul artist: Felix Fu. So here's what he's doing:
Felix Fu is an artist and visual storyteller who was born and raised in Hong Kong. Now living and working in Newton, Massachusetts, Felix creates tiny watercolors that capture the joy, beauty and essence of life. Charming and whimsical, his images have a nostalgic feeling that reminds one of a simpler, more magical time. Perhaps it is the flavor of the English influence in Hong Kong blended with New England tradition and a dash of child-like enthusiasm. Felix Doolittle stationery is unlike any other - each piece is like a miniature work of art. The Doolittle signature style includes full color illustrations, quality heavy paper, rounded corners and complementing illustrated envelopes. As friends and family receive your invitations and announcements, we hope our stationery conveys the joy with which it was created.
