Brussels

Apart of being the administrative centre of the European Union and the capital of Belgium...Brussels means picturesque medieval streets, lively squares, beautiful boulevards, impressive monuments, spacious parks, cosy cafés, interesting restaurants and an active cultural life and (probably the same poem for all the tourists) - chocolate, waffles, beer, lace, and ...chocolate again... :)

St. Michael and Gudula Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Michel or Sint-Michiels Kathedraal) was the first thing we visited as soon as we parked the car...Inside the cathedral we heard a beautiful voice singing the mass...celestial :)

City atmosphere...

...one of the many things I like to do when I get out of the country is I buy my fave magazines at their (almost) normal price...For eg. Vogue Paris is three times more expensive in Romania to buy than in the rest of the (central or west) european countries...Thant gets on my nerves... Freakin' backward country...

"It starts in Linz"

Linz is the third largest city in Austria with 188,968 inhabitants, is the capital of the federal province of Upper Austria and forms the heart of Austria´s second strongest economic region. Linz is by the Danube (Donau) river. The tourist slogan of the city is "In Linz beginnt's" ("It starts in Linz"). It was the first time I've seen this city and although is not as almost fairy tale like quality of Salzburg, I loved it anyway! Check it out for yourselves!

Cathedral of the Virgin Mary (Mariendom), Linz, Austria

Linz is an industrial city (with huge steel and chemical works) which was bombed during World War II - and was one of the few cities of Nazi-Germany that escaped total destruction. While Linz does indeed have a sizable "Altstadt" (old town) it may be disappointing to those tourists familiar with the charm of Graz or Salzburg. Linz is primarily a student and industrial town.While industry in Linz is still financially important, it is slowly diversifying by helping small companies and encouraging tourism. The city gets a lot of international media attention because of its annual Ars Electronica Festival - an international festival for Electronic Art. It also hosts the "Klangwolke" ("sound-cloud"); a big cultural Open-Air spectacle with modern and traditional music and a massive light show, which is held in September. Linz has become the "European Capital of Culture" in 2009, by virtue of an independent cultural development and an innovative culture and art scene.

Our trip to UK started today, the 10th of august. We left Romania without looking back. I was so eager to see new things, to meet new people, to enjoy the last month of summer far away from this surrogate of country...

We couldn't drive through Hungary without saying hello to Budapest, especially by night, when everything is lightened up so nice and the Danube looks so good sparkling...

If I'm not working during summer time, even if I'm off theatre duty, I like to visit new places and sightsee again the old one I already knew... Brasov is one of this places...I've seen it hundreds of times, but each time I go there again, I always visit smthing else...

the perfect place to relax with culture right next to you

The Library hotel is all I wish for a week of getaway, far from Romania, the people here and the damn crisis. I've always wanted to visit Thailand and I set my mind this year to get there! Not mentioning that they have lots of books and Mac gadgets to surround yourself only with those types of info that you love. Ah, that's heaven!

The Library Hotelis located at the heart of Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui and offers spacious accommodation with free internet access and views of the beach.Rooms at The Library are decorated in a minimalist style.

They are also equipped with air conditioning, a 42-inch plasma television and DVD player. Other features include an iMac computer with broadband internet access an iPod docking station.

The hotel features a large library with a fine selection of books, DVDs and music CD's. Once you've picked out a book, lounge by the swimming pool or head to the private stretch of beach with it while you soak up the sun. You can also recharge with a work-out at the fitness room.

Other facilities include an on-site restaurant serving delicious international and fusion delights complemented with a fine glass of wine. To unwind head to the beach bar with a cocktail as you watch the sunset.

The Library consists of 26 units of accommodation in duplex style dotted in U-shape around the property. The total size of land is approximately 4 Rais or 6,400 square meters inclusive of 50-metre beachfront area. All rooms are equipped with 42 Plasma TV with DVD player, on-line PC, Jacuzzi in the Suite and bathtub in the Studio. We preserve old trees and decorated landscape with art pieces and sculptures. The white theme of the main library building by the beach serving as a recreational area. A 270 degrees seaview fitness located next to the red swimming pool overlooking to the sea. Additionally, the grey tone of the restaurant serving as an all-day dining. These attractive appearance and interesting theme are samples of our concept.
