the trip back...

I don't know how I woke up, but I knew I had to be ready earlier than 7am...We had ahead of us 3 flights back to Romania: Trabzon-> Istanbul->Bucharest->Baia Mare. We didn't get the chance to see the Turkish sea coast when we flew by night to Trabzon; this time the day was sunny and we could admire the panoramic of the mountains and the Black Sea, which was amazing!
I'm always happy when I get a snack on a flight. The turkish one wsa really nice! :)
Flying above Istanbul...check out the ships...they seam like ants from the plane :)
We had to wait more than  5 hours in between the flights at the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. We were to tired (and with almost none financial resources) to go and visit some other parts of the city. Though I would loved it...I was happy I got to sleep a couple of hours, browsed the net a bit and waited to check in to get loose in the duty free area... :)
having a morning snack before boarding in Trabzon :)
taking the flight form Trabzon to Istanbul...
The journey back to Romania went smoothly. All in all, this trip to Turkey was amazing! I would do it again!
Talk to you soon!
Love, Gab~

the after party

Well...we had to end the party at midnight at the Ball Room in the hotel...but the Turkish people had a great idea. Disco time. I must confess, for me the true party time began there. I finally could relax and forget about everything, mainly forget about being responsible for my group and for everything to go as smooth as possible. I did that the whole journey. The party was on! And I did had a lot of fun! Just look at the pics! It didn't mattered anymore who was on the dancing floor! I got crazy and I loved it! And the nice part was that I had with whom to play ...party animals!!!
up- with my fave hair dresser ever! :)

It was a super night. I danced my but off! We got home around 3am...and we had to be up in a few hours to get ready for the flights back to Romania...One thing is for sure...I am going to miss Turkey!
see ya tomorrow! Love, Gab~

The closing ball...

A week filled with excitement, joy, discoveries, wonderful people, theatre and smiles. This could be a short portrayal of what the Black Sea Int. Theatre Festival meant to me. So, here we are at the closing ball on the last day of this lovely theatre journey. All the participants left (Romania, Ecuador, Poland and Turkey) gathered in the ball room of the Zorlu Hotel, all looking beautiful. After the director of the festival held his speech, the music and fun began. Danced, ate, had fun with all the people like a big family. Wondefrul moments!
...but the night wasn't over yet. :)
Kodak moments with lovely friends!
With two of the most wonderful people around...Mate and Sevki! :)
Can not forget Silvana from the Romanian Cultural Institute, who made this trip possible.
Big hug and a big THANK YOU!

...felt like on the Red Carpet :)
With the Technic Chief of our theatre, Gusti. A wonderful man and a real pro!
(and there are so few among the employees of BM Theatre...sadly)
...started the nigh with some punch...
the ladies :)
with Selin :)
...almost all the people from the romanian crew.
I loved these two guys. We had a lot of fun together...beginning  with those "paintings"... :))
And this was the cherry on top of the cake for me...a short but lovely msg from Sevki.
