theatre + face paint

Painting relaxes me...It's a joy for me to be able to do that. It's a lot like cooking also. You create something special... and I like to create beautiful things! It's a joy to play this theatre character for children (and not only).And it's a joy helping other theatre mates to become a character. :)
Go and see a theatre play, it will make you feel good!

Decided to go out and listen to my friend and theatre coleague sing, Mache. He has a beautiful voice and he's a great entertainer. He's one of the most known singers in the city. 

Photo Pub is almost always full of people..and like most of the romanian pubs/bars, the decent ventilation is non of their priority...unfortunately. So for the non smokers, as myself, that is the fist thing that's gonna scream right at me: "Get out as fast as you can!" . This is when I remember how much I miss the american pubs and locals... Here, if you stay more than 30 min in a pub, even you freakin' underwear smells like tobacco, which sucks big time...not to mention my hair smells horrid and my eyes start to water.

So....of course, I couldn't stay till the end of his performance; but the songs that I listened were beautiful. :) Time to shower...

Beautiful little things

As I hope I've already used my readers, this post it's going to be about beautiful things: things that make my soul smile, things that inspire beauty and breath the word elegant. Let me introduce you to one true soul artist: Felix Fu. So here's what he's doing:

...at 3 am I was sipping a bit of the "Breakfast at Tiffany's"... the 1961 movie with the famous Audrey Hepburn, is one of those movies I can never get enough watching and probably it will never get old. Love Hepburn's acting! One of my fave movies!

Apparently I'm stuck on movies and books these days...it's just a good way to spend free time...besides that, outside it's been raining for the last couple of days, so I haven't seen snow yet here. No fun going on...So, I prefer to stay indoors...like a bear, hibernating...

After reading all day ( plus I have a freakin' sore throat that drives me mad...), late in the evening me and Mate watched some movies...the first one, is a 2010 released one (trying to keep up with the new movies...). So... Pirahna ...man...that's such a time loss...if you haven't seen a bad movie in a long time, I recommend it!

Ok...the next movie ( I love classics!) was another of Marilyn Monroe's...1953 - "How to Marry a Millionaire"-Director:  Jean Negulesco ; Stars: Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable and Lauren Bacall

Three women set out to find eligible millionaires to marry, but find true love in the process...

Premiere

Here we are...the last two months of work, finally came to a conclusion...tonight we'll host the premiere of the theatre show called "The cold kid(child)". Yesterday came with some good and bad news...my mom came to see the performance last night, and I was so glad I had some time to spend with her...last time we've seen each other was in september. And then the bad news...well the PMS showed it's crappy face, and it hurts so bad...I had like 3 strong pain killers yesterday. And this morning, when my mom left at 5.30, the pain just got worst. I just hope I'll be able to play a good show tonight ... it still hurts right now...

theatre overdose

The Int. Theatre Festival ATELIER is on! The only wish I have for this coming week of art, is to go and see all the plays in the festival. So, if I may call this festival the Art Doctor... I'd say:

" Please doc...an overdose!!! I can take it for sure!!!"

Florean Museum - Tribute to Romanian Art

Tribute to ART in the first place...

...it's just a shame that romanians don't value these sculptures as other nations would... I loved them and had no ideea we have such a beautiful museum not far out Baia Mare.

Sunday visit

Yesterday we had a blast... I almost forgot how good nature does to me! So we went out again, out of the city to get some fresh air. Inna and Radu lead us to the Florean Museum, a sculpture museum by many romanian artists from this part of the country. The fresh green forest filled my body with energy and put an instand smile on my face! Great time! Hope I'll get to do this more often this summer...enjoy nature, let it heal all my worries...and just become a part of it! Definitely my cup of tea! :)
