shootings...

Last summer I started shooting a movie for a friend in Cluj. The bad luck was when the script was talking about a drought...and when Mate and I arrived in the city, a nasty storm started...And it kept on going for the next days. So the work was postponed....for an year later. :) We went this time again, decided to finish what we started...for good! The script changed a bit, the weather was just fine and fewer characters... :)) We finished it ...it's true, it's a short movie...but we did it in three days. :)

The movie shootings went on, (and after almost a week of get away from Baia to Cluj), I finnaly came back and the second day I got to assist at the "murder scene" where I was only the photographer this time, laughting and having fun behind the camera :))

It feels good to be behind the camera (it's a total new feeling), it seams that your're going through all the emotions an actor goes, and you almost learn by heart his words better and better as a scene has more than a couple of dubles ( hope that's the term in english...).

I had moovie shootings all day... for minor scenes that, apparently, seem to need no worry... there's a lot of work to do behind ...

In the second part of the day, I had to change clothes and make up for another scene...my poor hair had to suffer a lot today (although it doesn't seem).
Thank God for the hair masks and treatments!!!

so...the movie is closely coming to an end ... I'm almost done with the shootings. The director told me that I'll have to shoot one more scene, but only if it starts snowing - it's weird...the past years by this time of november we usually already had the first snow... and now it's almost december, and it's not even close to snow. I guess this global warming is starting to get more serious than ever... too bad...

sweet sunday work...

I went to sleep last night way past 3 a.m... no need to mention that I woke up too late to arrive in time for the movie shootings, that go on no matter if it's sunday. Well that's not really a problem, cause I'm used without having free weekends from the acting college...but, the thing is, today... for the first time in my life, I woke up at 8.30 am when the alarm clock rang. But sleepy me, I stopped it :) thinking I have no need to wake up so early and I went back to sleep, naturally....Anyway, a phone call to the director solved all the problems and soon he sent his wife after me. She gave me a ride till the Art Gallery where the set was for today... The next thing I know... I was on the makeup chair...

I usually smile when it comes to photos, but...soon after I was ready to start shooting, I felt really tired and wished they were over as soon as possible. maan...I'm only 24 years old and already I feel a lost night...I guess it's from all the crazy things going on (one after another)in my life, since I got back to work in september... Have to keep holding on!

movie shootings...

I started for a week now shooting for a movie, just helping a friend of mine. I will tell you guys more when it will come to an end, for now I just want everything to go right. And I'm also trying to hold up with the shows at the theatre (cause that's first), and they were one after other these days...I'm exhausted! Plus other things that must be done... Anyways, I have some pics before and from one of the shootings. Enjoy!

The place where we made the shootings was beautiful, but very cold...so until the lights were set, I tried to keep myself warm - the director's jacket helped :)) This last pic was taken somewhere around midnight... the shooting lasted more that I thought! But still smiling...
